BIG homes don’t scare us… but bats definitely love them 🦇🏠

Out in Clarkston, Michigan today getting bats out of another massive home. In this video I’m showing the ridge vent guard system we install to keep wildlife from getting back inside, Tyler hard at work, and somewhere out there my brother Ryan is apparently disappearing into attics removing animals 😂

Bats can squeeze into gaps as small as 3/8 of an inch and ridge vents are one of the most common entry points we see.

This raccoon literally pulled the siding back to gain access to this home. 🦝🏠

People are always shocked at the damage wildlife can cause when they’re trying to find a safe place to give birth. These animals are incredibly strong, determined, and destructive when they want inside.

In this case, the raccoon was able to expose the gable vent area and create access into the attic space. Once inside, they can destroy insulation, contaminate the attic, damage vents, and even tear through roofing materials.

This mother raccoon was determined to get into this attic… 🦝🏠

You can see multiple areas where she tore apart the ridge cap trying to create an entry point into the home. Female raccoons commonly target attic spaces during birthing season because they’re warm, dry, and protected.

🚨 THIS is what a desperate mother raccoon can do to your roof.

She literally ripped this ridge vent apart so she could get into the attic and give birth to her babies. Even with nails holding this vent down, she still managed to tear it open. 🦝🏠

EIGHT babies removed from this home 😳🦝

This little one was hidden in an inaccessible section of the attic. We had to carefully cut through wood just to reach the area and make sure no babies were left behind. Situations like this are exactly why a proper inspection matters during raccoon season.

Leaving babies behind can lead to odor, damage, and desperate mother raccoons tearing back into the home trying to get them.
