Everyone’s worried about AI taking their job…
But there are some jobs AI simply can’t do.
AI isn’t showing up at 2 AM when a water line blows and water is flooding your yard and pouring into the street.
It isn’t crawling through a scorching attic, covered head to toe in protective gear, digging through fiberglass insulation to find a hidden leak no one else can find.
It isn’t squeezing into a tight crawl space underneath a home to track down a problem.
It isn’t clearing a nasty sewer backup.
It isn’t spending hours behind a jackhammer breaking through concrete to repair a sewer line.
And it definitely isn’t grabbing a shovel and digging a 4-foot-deep trench in 110° Arizona heat.
That takes a plumber.
Plumbing is dirty. It’s physical. It’s technical. And when something goes wrong, somebody has to actually show up and fix it.
It takes training, experience, problem-solving, and a willingness to do the hard work most people don’t want to touch.
And that’s exactly why we’re proud of what we do.
At Arizona VIP Plumbing, Sewer & Drain, our crews are out there every day keeping water flowing, drains draining, sewer lines working, and homes and businesses operating.
AI is changing the workplace.
But it still can’t turn a wrench, run a sewer machine, run a camera through a line, crawl through an attic, squeeze underneath a house, or grab a shovel.
It can’t make sure a plumbing trench is dug to the right fall and grade so the sewer flows properly with no backup and no guesswork.
So while everyone else is wondering whether AI is coming for their job…
Plumbers are wondering who took the damn shovel off the truck. 😂🔧
Technology may change.
But skilled trades aren’t going anywhere.
