Friends, neighbors and customers… Cowboy Car Wash & Twice the Ice House seeking clarity or maybe just need to rant!
When the temperatures are freezing water doesn’t work well at the manual bay carwashes. Saturday night at midnight Jennifer Harrington Gordon and I closed all 4 bays and put 8 cones out to indicate the car wash bays are closed.
When you push high pressure through rubber very expensive high pressure hoses at freezing temps they burst. Brass fittings crack, gun, wands, boon swivels, nozzles freeze and break if used. More than 4 customers on Sunday decided on their own to move the cones and come on in. Mr BMW even decided to leave a gallon of white paint with the lid off on bay 2 to spill every where. Mrs Mercedes’ at 3:40 today must have really needed to wash her car- so bad she threw both cones out of the drive in, spent $3.25 and broke a 14’ hose, a gun, high pressure nozzle, and wand. Mr green Suburu and red Mazda… thanks so much for the less than $5 purchases that caused hundreds of dollars of damage.
Friends the cones are out for a reason. We’ll open the bays when the hoses on the roof, bay walls and office have thawed. Please respect the cones. We love value and appreciate our customers. Thank you from the bottom of our heart. However if you come to dump your junk, drain your oil, pour your spoiled crawfish in our bays or p**p or vomit please go somewhere else.
Thanks for allowing me to serve all of the rest of my neighbors and friends who respect and appreciate hard working small business owners like The Cowboy House And Scout Plumbing, Heating & Air. We’re all family and we have chosen to have our businesses available for you. My only question left is… civil suits /small claims court for those trespassing, knowingly and willingly removing the cones? Probably not, I’ll forgive you. Please don’t come back I don’t need the $3.25 from the Mercedes or the $4.50 from the Beamer who left a $28 gallon of spilled paint.
Yall stay warm my friends. — feeling emotional with Jennifer Harrington Gordon and 3 others at Cowboy Car Wash & Twice the Ice House.
