QPC recently added Epoxy Cup Style Termini as an option for our QMicro Product Line. The QMicro is an HMC compatible expanded beam connector series. In the past, the only option was to use a backshell to protect the fiber entering the receptacle, but this was not ideal in space constrained designs. The new E2 Epoxy Cup Termini solves this challenge by directly accepting a 2mm cable / subunit using epoxy to anchor the aramid strength members. This cable retention design has been tested to exceed 25lbs of pull and is ready to ship. Please contact our sales team for a sample if interested!
