I figure every 2 years is approximately good enough time for spaced posts and so what other better time than now to show off this beautiful remodel

trom disinfections for the last couple years to now full cleaning and general facility services

Here is a project we’re currently on in Pasadena. 5 story remodel of the old AND windowless (at the time) Bank of America building. Our task is final clean (exterior and interior skin) of this 300,000 sqft building including every new interior AND exterior window 😳 😳

With the current spread of covid-19, whilst many other cities are opposing the closures of their cities and businesses, parks and more, the unsung heroes in our opinion are those that are willing to sacrifice for others.

This virus isn’t going away anytime soon. We run 24 hours a day disinfections of companies that supply our groceries, mass public transit operating, personal vehicles running, military personnel operational and much more.

We seem to be in the thick of it right now with viruses everywhere. Our kids are coming home sick more often and staying sick longer. Our employees are and ourselves the same. It’s imperative we take the measured steps to reduce our exposure to these things.

Here’s a brief description of differences between cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing and why we should know the differentiations between the three as cleaning and disinfecting are part of a broad approach to preventing infectious diseases in our schools, homes or businesses.

1. Cleaning removes germs, dirt, and impurities from surfaces or objects.
Cleaning works by using soap (or detergent) and water to physically remove germs from surfaces. This process does not kill germs and viruses.

2. Disinfecting works by using specially registered-chemicals to kill germs on surfaces or objects.
This process does not necessarily clean dirty surfaces but eradicates viruses and bacteria by killing them on the surface after disinfection is completed.

3. Sanitizing lowers the number of germs on surfaces or objects to a safe level, as judged by public health standards or requirements. This process works by either cleaning or sanitizing surfaces or objects to lower the risk of spreading infections.

Viruses are relatively fragile, so disinfecting practices are sufficient to remove or kill them. Special cleaning processes, including wiping down walls and ceilings, frequently using room air deodorizers, and fumigating, are not necessary or recommended. These processes can irritate eyes, noses, throats, and skin; aggravate asthma; and cause other serious side effects.
