One of the details that really sets this build apart is the hidden fuel filler setup. Since upgrading to a 42-gallon fuel tank system, the factory gas cap location has been shaved for a cleaner look.

To keep functionality without sacrificing style, we utilized an .fabrication taillight flip fuel door conversion. That’s right—the taillight flips open to reveal the fuel filler, giving the truck a sleek, custom appearance while remaining 100% functional.

The system is mocked up and working exactly as intended. Now it’s time to pull everything back apart for final coating and finishing before reassembly.

The little details make the difference. 🔥

What a weekend at Battle in Bama! 🏆

With over 1,800 people and 300+ OBS Chevy trucks at Talladega, we’re honored to bring home Best Lifted Truck.

First and foremost, all glory to God. We also want to thank everyone who had a hand in this build. Seeing all the hard work, late nights, and dedication come together makes this win even more rewarding.

👀 Peep the Pitman Customs “Double Bubble” lurking in the background! But let’s give credit where it’s due—this orange Lower Dooley is absolutely KILLING IT. 🔥

The stance, the body lines, the attention to detail… this truck is super clean from top to bottom. The owner is one of the most humble, down-to-earth guys you’ll meet. It was awesome seeing him out here enjoying the show with his son and sharing his passion with the next generation.

🔥 DOUBLE BUBBLE MAKES HER DEBUT! 🔥

Today is a special day for us at Pitman Customs as “Double Bubble” officially makes her debut at Battle in Bama during with OBS Nationals in Talladega, Alabama!

This truck wasn’t built by a big shop, backed by sponsors, or assembled by a large crew. It was built right here in our shop through long nights, hard work, determination, and a shared vision.

What started as an idea became reality. We want to thank everyone who had lended a helping hand in this build & simply believing in what we were trying to create.

We’re proud to roll into Talladega representing Pitman Customs and proud of what we’ve accomplished together.

From our small shop in Tennessee to Battle in Bama—Double Bubble has officially arrived.
