Confession…

I thought I wanted to become one of the leading pressure washing companies in the Omaha area.

And honestly…

I still do.

But nobody really talks about the side of growth that comes with it.

The more visible you become…

The more people watch you.

The more competitors suddenly want to “pick your brain.”

The more fake support shows up.

The more people try figuring out your numbers, pricing, chemicals, processes, marketing, equipment setup…

Everything.

And apparently when you rank at the top long enough…

You even deal with competitors reporting your Google Business Profile trying to get it suspended or marked inactive.

That’s something customers never see behind the scenes.

People think growth is just more trucks, more jobs, and more money.

But growth also comes with stress.

Pressure.

Jealousy.

Competition.

And realizing not everybody claps when you succeed.

But honestly?

If being at the top was easy…

Everybody would already be there.

So we keep pushing forward.

Keep improving.

Keep showing up.

And keep earning every review, every referral, and every customer the right way.

No shortcuts.

No fake reviews.

No gimmicks.

Just hard work.

And I appreciate every single person that supports us because of it.

The difference between 'clean enough' and PROFESSIONAL cleaned...

Most homeowners can spray off a driveway.

Maybe even wash part of the siding.

People think fleet washing is just showing up and spraying trucks down… 😂

Reality?

Today I showed up to wash equipment… and ended up playing plumber first.

Because commercial washing isn’t always plug-and-play. Sometimes you’ve got to figure out water access, solve problems on the fly, adapt, and keep things moving.

That’s the side of this business most people never see.

One minute I’m washing equipment.
The next minute I’m troubleshooting water.
Then I’m figuring out the fastest way to keep a job on schedule.

Running a business means wearing a lot of hats.

Today… apparently plumber was one of them. 🤷‍♂️😂

One thing customers don’t always realize until after we’re done…

How much TIME exterior cleaning actually takes.

This customer said it perfectly 👇

"It would have taken me several weekends (and a really sore back) to do what he did in a few hours…"

That’s exactly why we invested in professional equipment, proper soft washing systems, commercial surface cleaners, and years of experience.

Could most homeowners clean parts of it themselves?

Sure.

But between the time, equipment, techniques, and physical labor involved…

It turns into a much bigger project than most expect.

For this property we cleaned:

Confession…

One of the hardest lessons I’ve learned running a business…

Sometimes strangers will support your business harder than friends and family.

The people you’ve never met before will like your posts. Share your business. Leave reviews. Recommend you to neighbors. Trust you with one of their biggest investments.

Meanwhile people you’ve known for years…

Silent.

And honestly… that used to bother me.

But building a business teaches you something real fast:

Not everyone is meant to be your customer.

Not everyone is meant to understand the long hours, the sacrifices, the stress, the missed events, the risk, or what it takes to build something from nothing.

And that’s okay.

Because somewhere out there is a stranger watching your posts quietly… paying attention… cheering you on… and one day they become your customer.

Then they become your repeat customer.

Then they become your biggest supporter.

150 5 star GOOGLE REVIEWS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

And honestly…

It should be closer to 200.

Google has flagged and removed a lot of legitimate reviews lately while trying to crack down on all the fake reviews businesses buy.

Unfortunately, small legitimate businesses get caught in the mix too.

So even after losing around 50 real customer reviews to Google’s automated system…

We STILL have 150 FIVE STAR reviews with no ratings lower than 5 stars.

That says more than I ever could.

Because you can’t fake consistency for years.

You can’t fake repeat customers.
You can’t fake referrals.
And you definitely can’t fake reputation long term.

No Pressure Power Washing was built the old school way:

By showing up.
Doing quality work.

One thing I’ve learned running a small business…

People don’t just hire you because you can do the job.

They hire you because they trust you around their home.

That matters to me more than most people probably realize.

Every house I pull up to…
Every customer that leaves me a key code…
Every person that says “just take care of it while we’re gone”…

That trust isn’t something I take lightly.

Especially nowadays.

There’s a lot of fly-by-night companies.
A lot of people chasing quick money.
A lot of shortcuts.

But for me, this has never just been about spraying water on a house.

It’s about building something people remember for the right reasons.

That’s why I answer questions.
Why I over-explain things sometimes.
Why I care about the details most people overlook.

Because reputation took years to build…
And one bad job can destroy it.
