ABEL'S ISLAND FOOD PRODUCTS

ABEL'S ISLAND FOOD PRODUCTS Abel's Island Food Products is a combination of Abel's (1980-2002) and Island Food Products currently serving the Island of Guam.

We are proud to serve San Diego county with delicacies from our childhood and memories from Guam and Saipan. Abel's started as a coconut tree cleaning business for hotels in the late 70's and the guilt of throwing away Guam's own precious fruit encouraged my parents to find a solution to preserve the fruit. By experimenting with the young coconut, mom and dad made apigigi and ahu as samples for fr

iends, family and neighbors to taste. Soon, people started to place orders and the founding of Abel's Food products was opened in 1980 owned and operated as a family business. Since then, other tasteful products were introduced such as the manha tatiyas, tamales tapioca, tamales suni, and the popular dried beef with red rice. In 2002, Island food products was opened which is the original Abel's under new management as my parents retired and the children took over. Today, Abel's island Food Products is now open in San Diego and " keeping the tradition alive" we offer the same great products as Guam for you and the family to enjoy. Our goal is to further service our customers with quality products, preserve our Chamorro culture and establish ourselves in the growing Chamorro and pacific Islands community here in California. Hafa Adai,

Today's menu is manha tatiyas.
We are officially back in San Diego after a few years overseas.

I'm slowly getting back into preparing Chamorro desserts and other foods you would usually find at Island Festivals.
Next up is smoked beef.

Stay safe out there. I've missed you all.
