💨 Everyone loves a good oceanfront view until the sand starts to coat the sliders after only a day or two. Luckily we have a little trick to make this easier to break down and clean off so you get that view as soon as you walk in! 😍

✨ With all the conversations about Airbnbs new rule changes - we want to take the time to chat about us here at Ocean Transparency and how we perceived this.

First and foremost, we stand by the fact that the OBX sees some of the best guest that the short term rental industry sees year after year. There is always going to be a few bad fish in the sea, but overall we meet smiling faces, happy families, and new generations hear after year. Making it so owners can’t set certain rules won’t change that majority of the guest take good care of a property during their stay regardless of not a left by the owner.

🌊 Ocean Transparency already doesn’t require guest to strip beds as part of their checkout procedures and we pride ourselves on that every bed (yes, even top bunks) are made each and every time!
We only ask guest to take their respective trash out and start the dishwasher. To that point, we also understand checking out on time is crucial to our operations and we take the wins where we can.

🙌🏽 For us, there is a few ways you can help your housekeeper kick the clean off right! We do our best to accommodate as many early arrivals as possible and it’s more possible when these steps are followed.

🧽 Nonetheless, we look forward to servicing your vacation needs in the future and as owners, guests, and cleaning companies. We genuinely are all in this together.

😮 Seeing these numbers is the highlight of the end of my year. It’s a reminder of growth. It’s a way of holding ourselves accountable year after year.

Side note: the target spending isn’t just bad habits, this is only business purchases. Whenever we needed small appliances, blankets, linens, beach chairs, umbrellas, board games for guest on rainy weeks, etc! I’m easily there 2-4 times a day! 😱
