Q/A on cleaning for tenants...
A cleaner cleaned for a tenant and the tenant calls back because they smell urine. Should the cleaner go back? Should he charge for it? Who pays?

My 2 cents:
Good idea to have PMs on speed-dial so you can ask them about their tenants and policies in advance of these cleans. They appreciate you asking about their world.

Doubt a re-clean will solve anything. You might even make it worse as you may be activating the urine smell with HWE.

Ask the tenant what the smell is and where it's coming from.
If they say ammonia and know exactly where the smell is coming from then go back and apply IOR Part 1 and be done. Show them the ammonia test to help convince them you know what you're doing.
If they don't ID it as ammonia or can't ID where it's coming from then go back and apply IOR Part 1 and reclean with JOSR in the most likely area(s).

Guys I know doing this work use IOR a lot. Don't be surprised if the PM & Owner show up together to ask what you're doing differently from the last guys.
Actually, they don't care what you're doing differently, they just want you to keep doing it.
IOR/JOSR, Rat Nasty and White Knight are making Heros out of lots of cleaners.

some more catchin' up to do but ...
faster turn-around now than ever. At least nobody's complaining how long it takes me to make their stuff.
Same day shipping on many smaller orders and just 3 days for wands and such (it averaged over 3 weeks during COVID).
Nowadays my mantra is "do one job a thousand times"
I recommend you try it.
Not only will the quality of your workmanship be better
but you'll actually get more done in less time.
I realize it's not possible so much in cleaning, but if you can think of your 5 big jobs today as just a bunch of tiny jobs, then you could maybe get some of those tiny jobs done in advance - one job a thousand times - more done, more efficiently.
