Kansas City, Missouri has a growing problem with illegal tire dumping. Someone posing as a tire recycler — or possibly connected to a tire shop — has reportedly been stealing 53-foot semi dry van trailers, loading them with scrap tires, and abandoning the full trailers on city streets, parking lots, and private business property. After dumping one loaded trailer, they allegedly move on to find another empty trailer and repeat the process.

Since August 2024, they have stolen two of my trailers. The most recent theft happened in April 2026. They also dumped a trailer loaded with scrap tires from another company onto my property.
