🐢 It’s turtle time. You’re probably going to start seeing these little guys making their slow and dramatic journey across the road. So here’s your friendly reminder: Drive smart. Stay off your phone. Cowabunga responsibly. 🐢
If you can safely avoid them, do it. If you stop to help, pull completely off the road first. Do NOT run into traffic, stop in the middle of the lane, or turn yourself into the emergency.
Move turtles in the direction they were already headed. If you put them back where they started, they’ll just turn around and head right back into traffic.
No turtlenapping. You are not Master Splinter. That turtle does not need a new home.
