Good afternoon everybody sorry for not posting as much content in the past couple weeks…we have been slammed with work and projects…Fortunately today we were able to put some good time into the 2002 Chevy Silverado Z71 and install the new front bumper, rear bumper, headlights, taillights, and so much more 🔥This truck truly is coming together beautifully and I can’t wait to show you guys the finished result once it’s done!

You see that rotor screw? Ever wondered if you actually need it? Pro tip— YOU DO NOT 😂

The set screw was seized solid like they always are, so I hit it with the impact driver, and it cracked right loose. If that ever fails, a quick kiss of the torch gets it done. 🫡

Here’s the truth: once your wheel is torqued down, the lug nuts hold that rotor 100%. That little screw did its one job at the factory and has been freeloading ever since. So if yours strips out or goes missing, don’t sweat it — you DONT need it

That squeak isn’t your brakes dying — it’s them warning you.

Customer figured the rear brakes were toast….he was right I pulled the wheels and there it was: the little metal squeaker tab on the pad just barely touching the rotor. That’s it doing its job — telling you the pad’s getting thin before anything actually grinds. Swapped the rear pads and rotors and she’s quiet again.

That noise is a heads-up, not a death sentence. But don’t sit on it too long….you don’t want a bigger bill🙃

The salt monster strikes again…
This time it ate clean through the torsion spring mounts. Unfortunately the drivers side mount rusted through and caused that annoying knock under the truck. This job isn’t for the faint of heart, but it’s done!!!!
