Most flips skip the part nobody sees.

I’m prepping the frame on this ‘02 Silverado Z71 — cleaning it down and sealing it up before another Ohio winter gets a shot at it. Salt and slush kill these trucks from the bottom up, and a clean paint job doesn’t mean much if the frame’s rotting underneath it.

Since I have to drop the fuel tank to do the frame right, I’m swapping the fuel pump while I’m down there. No sense making the next owner pay twice for the same tank-drop labor.

That’s the difference — I’m building this one to be owned, not just flipped.

Today, I was able to fix a 2018 Ram 1500 3.6L for a good client of mine—a shop previously told her that the rear main seal was leaking. After a thorough diagnosis and inspection of the truck, I discovered, to no one's surprise, that the oil cooler was leaking, as well as the valve covers. While addressing the main oil concern, we also addressed some other issues on the truck that the customer wanted fixed. In total, I replaced both valve covers, the oil cooler, the radiator, both front axles, and spark plugs. Just wrapped up this 2012 Nissan Frontier and I’m proud of how it came out. Both front quick struts replaced, brand new left front wheel bearing, and a fresh right front upper control arm. This truck came in with serious suspension issues and it’s leaving with zero play and a ride that feels completely dialed in. The customer can get back on the road and drive with full confidence knowing every component was handled the right way

Stay tuned as we work through the front suspension on this 2012 Nissan Frontier. Customer came to me for an inspection and we found a bad left front wheel bearing, both front struts leaking, and physical play in the right front upper control arm. That’s a lot going on up front — but nothing we can’t handle. Every one of those issues affects how this truck drives, steers, and stops, so we’re doing it right and doing it completely. This is exactly why a thorough inspection matters. You don’t know what you’re dealing with until someone actually gets under the vehicle and looks.

BEFORE & AFTER | 2002 Subaru Forester

After an inspection on this beautiful Forester, I found physical play in both lower ball joints and tie rods. The axle boots were shredded and flinging grease.

Had a conversation with the customer, walked them through what I found, and we got to work.

Replaced both front lower ball joints, both axles, and both inner and outer tie rods.

Now it drives smooth — no more clunks, no more play, no more mystery noises.

Every vehicle deserves to be taken care of — and this Toyota was long overdue. The interior was packed with dirt and crumbs throughout the entire cabin. I went through every corner, vacuumed everything out, and wiped down every surface until it looked and felt the way it should. The owner drove away with a clean car and I drove away knowing the job was done right.
