Most flips skip the part nobody sees.
I’m prepping the frame on this ‘02 Silverado Z71 — cleaning it down and sealing it up before another Ohio winter gets a shot at it. Salt and slush kill these trucks from the bottom up, and a clean paint job doesn’t mean much if the frame’s rotting underneath it.
Since I have to drop the fuel tank to do the frame right, I’m swapping the fuel pump while I’m down there. No sense making the next owner pay twice for the same tank-drop labor.
That’s the difference — I’m building this one to be owned, not just flipped.
