Hey everyone, this is Michelle with Expert Cleaners LLC, and today I wanted to speak openly and honestly about something that many small business owners deal with behind the scenes… payment respect and respecting service agreements.
You know, something I’ve always wondered is this…
Why is it that when people go to a dentist appointment, a barber shop, a hair salon, a nail salon, the grocery store, a clinic, or even to buy shoes, clothing, ci******es, or food… payment is expected immediately without hesitation?
Nobody walks into those businesses saying:
‘I’ll pay you three days later.’
‘I’ll send it when I get around to it.’
Or ‘Can you wait until next week?’
Because everyone understands those businesses provided a service or product, and payment is part of the agreement.
But unfortunately, many small businesses — especially cleaning companies — are often treated differently.
A professional cleaning service is still a professional service.
We show up.
We use our gas.
Our supplies.
Our equipment.
Our physical labor.
Our time.
Our employees.
Our scheduling.
And in many cases, we spend hours inside a customer’s home or business delivering quality work exactly as agreed.
So when a customer intentionally delays payment, ignores invoices, avoids communication, or becomes upset about late fees that were already explained and signed for beforehand… it can honestly feel very disrespectful to a small business owner.
Especially because policies are not created to be rude.
Policies are created because this is how businesses survive and continue operating professionally.
Small businesses still have payroll.
Insurance.
Licensing.
Taxes.
Supplies.
Vehicles.
And families to provide for.
And I think sometimes people forget that behind small businesses are real human beings working extremely hard to keep everything going.
At Expert Cleaners LLC, we truly value and appreciate our amazing customers who respect our time, our work, our agreements, and our policies. Those customers are the reason we continue growing and serving our community with pride.
And honestly, respecting payment terms is not just about money…
It’s about respect.
Respect for someone’s labor.
Respect for their business.
Respect for the agreement that was made from the very beginning.
If we as consumers understand that every other business deserves to be paid on time…
Then small businesses deserve that same exact respect too.
And before I end this video, I just want to say this…
Supporting a small business is more than just booking the service.
It’s respecting the people behind the business.
Every appointment we accept means we reserved time specifically for you.
Every cleaning we complete means physical labor was performed with care, professionalism, and attention to detail.
And every agreement signed is built on trust, communication, and mutual respect.
Small businesses are not large corporations with unlimited resources.
Most of us are out here sacrificing sleep, family time, energy, and our physical health trying to provide quality services while still keeping our businesses afloat.
So when customers pay on time, communicate properly, and respect business policies, it truly means more than people realize.
It helps us continue serving our community, supporting our families, paying our employees, and continuing to grow.
To all of our loyal customers who continue respecting our work, trusting our company, and valuing what we do…
Thank you.
We truly appreciate you more than words can explain.
And to everyone watching this…
Always remember:
Professional services deserve professional respect.
