In 2009, Derek Gregory, founder of Pearlstine’s Cleaning Services, was inspired to create “Pearlstine’s Free Cancer Cleaning” after caring for his aunt during her battle with cancer. Witnessing the physical and emotional toll her treatment took, Derek saw how everyday tasks became overwhelming. His visits to help with simple chores revealed a larger need in the community to support cancer patients in similar situations. That’s when his mission began.

Now known as the “Radiant Homes Initiative,” our goal remains the same: to provide free residential cleaning for cancer patients. Driven by compassion and empathy, we believe in the power of a clean home to uplift spirits and bring peace of mind during a difficult time. It’s our privilege to support families in their healing journey, one clean home at a time.

Pearlstine’s Cleaning LLC was founded in 2008 in Jacksonville, FL by Derek Gregory Stays, a US Army veteran, former law enforcement officer, and 9/11 first responder. After realizing his passion for crime scene cleaning, Derek took a leap of faith and launched Pearlstine’s Cleaning. What started as a solo residential venture quickly grew, and within two years, Pearlstine’s expanded into commercial cleaning. Today, with a dedicated team of 14 employees, 27 consistent clients, and 6 commercial accounts, Pearlstine’s continues to thrive. Derek’s commitment to excellence drives him to stay ahead of the latest cleaning practices and proudly lead the Radiant Home Initiative.
