Liminal space is where the soul does some of its deepest work.
It’s the space between night and day, when the world is still holding its breath. The dark hasn’t fully left, the light hasn’t fully arrived. Everything is soft, flux, becoming.
We move through seasons like this inside our lives, too. The old way of being is complete. The new way is still just a whisper. You can feel that you cant’t go back, but you also can’t quite see what’s ahead. It can be disorienting, emotional, foggy. You might feel untethered or strangely exhausted.
Nothing is wrong with you.
In this in-between, your spirit is quietly rearranging itself. Old identities loosen their grip. Patterns that once kept you safe start to fall away. Your nervous system is trying to catch up to the shifts your soul has already said yes to.
Liminal space asks for gentleness, not perfection. It asks you to soften your timeline, release the pressure to “figure it all out,” and allow yourself to simply BE in the doorway. To trust that what is meant for you is already moving closer, even if you can’t see it yet.
If you are standing in that space between who you were and who you’re becoming, you are not lost. You are in transit. You are not behind. You are in holy ground.
