When cleaning windows if you wipe dry or squeegee up/down inside and sideways outside, you'll know where streaks are and can easily remove streaks by wiping again on correct side.

Spring Cleaning Tips Part 3 April 6th, 2026:
Despite the several inches of snowfall yesterday and temps in the teens today, it is Spring in my neck of the woods.
Maybe those resistant to venturing out could use their inside time wisely "decluttering" cupboards and drawers.
How to unmake the messes pictured here-
1. Place cardboard box and trash can near cubboard/drawer.
2. Ask yourself 3 questions with items (a. do i use? b. will i use soon? c. will i ever use?), if you answered NO 3 times, put items in box to donate or trash to toss.
Great places to donate are St. Vincent DePaul stores, Goodwill Industries. Donations are tax deductible.

Spring Cleaning Tips Part 2 March 30th, 2026:
Cleaning and organizing may seem monumental. I have discovered in my 20 plus years of professionally cleaning, organizing, maintaining, repairing, a good way to begin is to start small. You will feel a sense of accomplishment making larger tasks less monumental.
For example; tackle the clutter in your car. Throw out wrappers and debris, wipe surfaces with a damp towel (use auto cleaners if you prefer), clean interior glass with vinegar/water mixture, and finally vacuum seats/floors. If you are really motivated wash floor mats too!
As you can see I am having a difficult time putting my skis away...

Cleaning Tip For Presidents Day Week February 16th, 2025:
The first microwave oven was the size of a refrigerator.
We have all experienced the Sauce Explosion at some point in our culinary microwave adventures. Cleaning it up after it dries adds to the misery.

I grew up with Reader's Digest magazine. It's mostly digital now and still provides valuable info. I recently was nearly tricked into one of the scams outlined here. Read up and be wiser.
