🚬🐭 Smoker Mouse House – Day 5

One more day. 🤯

It’s hard to believe we’re this close to the finish line after everything this house has thrown at us.

Today’s progress:
✨ Fixed damage from the flooring installation
✨ Caulked all the baseboards
✨ Filled every nail hole in the trim
✨ Swapped out all the old light switches and outlet covers
✨ Installed a brand-new ceiling fan
✨ Hung a new bathroom light fixture
✨ Installed the new toilet
✨ Rehung all the doors
✨ Started installing and staining the new floating shelves in the kitchen

The little details are what take a house from “under construction” to feeling like home, and today was packed with them.

🚬🐭 Smoker Mouse House – Day 4

Today was flooring day, so we took advantage of it and let the pros do their thing. 🙌

Instead of swinging hammers, we spent the day checking off the next big items:
🚪 Ordering a new front door
🚽 Picking out a new toilet
💡 Choosing new light fixtures
🔌 Ordering fresh outlets, switches, and other finishing touches

Sometimes the biggest progress happens behind the scenes. Every decision gets this house one step closer to feeling like a home again. Stay tuned… the transformation is about to get really good. 👀

🚬🐭 Smoker Mouse House – Day 3

We’re pretty sure this house is trying to fight back… but we’re winning. 😂

Today’s chaos included:
🔨 Filling what felt like 10,000 holes
❄️ Evicting the world’s biggest A/C unit (seriously… why was it there?)
🎨 Locking in years of smoke damage with Sherwin-Williams ProLock
🤍 Double coating the entire house in color-drenched Greek Villa
🍳 Ordering brand-new appliances because this place deserves a fresh start

Oh… and we somehow squeezed all of that into a 16-hour day. ☕💀

This house has gone from “Should we even walk in?” to “Wait… it’s actually looking GOOD.”

One day at a time. One room at a time. One ridiculous surprise at a time.

Now the fun really begins… 👀

🚚 Day 4: The flooring crew is on their way, and we’re finally covering up these nasty floors. This transformation is about to level up in a BIG way.

🐭🏚️ DAY 2 OF THE MOUSE HOUSE FLIP

WE FINALLY FINISHED CLEANING. 😭👏

After removing what felt like 47 years of ni****ne, mouse evidence, mystery grime, and things I simply chose not to identify… we moved on to demo. 😂

Today we:
🔨 Ripped out cabinets
🧻 Tore down wallpaper
🧹 Finished cleaning the mouse mansion
🤢 Continued questioning every life choice that brought us here

She’s still ugly. She still smells suspicious. But for the first time, I can actually see the potential under all the chaos. 😂

5 DAYS LEFT to turn this Mouse House into an actual home.

At this point, we’re running on caffeine, bad decisions, and pure delusion. 🫡🐭
