Some very polite and well behaved coyotes near UD the other night-

A couple of coyotes strolled through grassy fields and parking lots along South Main Street near the University of Dayton campus shortly after midnight on Wednesday.

Please like and share to get the word out! It baby bunny season again (sooner than usual due to the warm temps). The females leave young unattended during the day and return at night. If you find a bunny nest, leave it undisturbed and keep pets away. If pets are an issue, cover the nest during the day and uncover it at night so the female can visit the nest. A bunny's best chance of survival is in the wild! If you need help I am happy to answer questions and can point you to the nearest local wildlife rehabilitator if needed.

I am seeing more squirrel damage to vehicles and buildings recently due to squirrels chewing on wiring due to soy in the wire covering.

The Feb. 20 event made many basic services in the county go dark, including phone lines and internet services at key government agencies like the county’s prosecutor’s, auditor’s offices.
