Hello friends,

I would like to talk about cleaning quotes. Most cleaning companies charge by the square footage of the house or give a quote by phone based on the number of rooms and bathrooms. However, I do things differently as I believe in old school methods.

I don't give quotes by phone without first seeing the house. I need to check the condition of the house, such as the presence of dust on blinds, ceiling fans, baseboards, and furniture. I also need to assess the bathroom's cleanliness and the presence of hard water on the toilet, shower, and sinks.

By checking all these things, I can estimate how long it will take me to clean the house and how many people I will need for the job. Based on this, I will give the quote.

In the past, I used to give three quotes over the phone, but it didn't work out well. The first person never called me back, and upon investigating, I found out that she was only interested in the pricing for starting her cleaning business. The other two lied to me about the condition of their houses, and it was only when I arrived to do the job that I realized the actual state of their homes.

Therefore, please understand that next time you ask me for a quote, I will ask to see your house first. This way, I can provide a fair and accurate quote for the job.
