šŸIā€™ve ran into some cool native snakes while servicing customers homes here lately . A Buttermilk Racer, and a Hognose. Both are completely harmless.

Funny story about the buttermilk racer is I was showing a customer the work I had done in his backyard and we heard a loud noise behind us. Sure enough the buttermilk racer was chasing a frog around the Koi pond in the backyard. The customer was trying to kill it and then I told him Iā€™ll catch it and relocate it and educated him. Not all snakes are a liability.

Removed this HUGE Formosan termite aerial nest ļæ¼from a customerā€™s house today!

Formosan termites unlike native eastern subterranean termites can create aerial nest above the ground and can even survive without a connection to the ground if the environment has enough moisture.
