 Owning a cleaning company isn’t just wiping counters and making beds. Sometimes it’s dead rodents, mice droppings, filthy ovens, nasty microwaves, dead bugs, and things most people would walk away from.

As a business owner, you have to learn what jobs are worth taking — and what jobs are too much for your team. Not every cleaner is comfortable with every situation, and that’s okay.

One thing I will always do? Take care of my cleaners. If they’re dealing with extreme messes or things outside the normal day-to-day cleaning, they deserve extra appreciation and incentive for it.

This industry is not for the weak… but a good cleaning team can handle just about anything 💪🧼

Lake Michigan turnovers all day today 🌊🧼

One thing about vacation rentals… guests will notice EVERYTHING. The crumbs under the couch, sand in the entryway, fingerprints on the fridge, hair in the shower. That’s why we don’t just “tidy up” — we reset these homes for the next family walking through the door.

Today’s lineup:☀️ lake houses🩴 sandy entryways🛏 endless beds✨ and those satisfying final walkthroughs

Some of these rentals looked lived in when we walked in… and guest-ready when we left. Exactly how it should be.
