So, $0.85 a pound - what does that look like?

My family of 4's average weight of clean laundry for approximately 5 days is 22-25lbs and that includes multiple pairs of denim jeans for the hubs. That's only $18-$22.

Worth it?!

Meet the person behind WashDay:

Hi all, I'm Lisa. I'm a wife, mom to two young boys and two dogs. I decided to start WashDay because I understand the amount of time and energy that goes into laundry each week. I feel like it can be a never ending task! As a mom to boys, I've seen it all when it comes to laundry and promise to take care of your belongings as they were my own. My Type A personality is a great fit for continuous laundry.

Why do we list a price per pound or a flat rate per bag? An average load of laundry weighs about 10lbs (after it’s washed and dried) but a 13 gallon bag or larger will hold more than that.

We will only charge per pound until the bag reaches the $20 limit. That way we can accommodate small and large orders without overcharging either.
