ETA: This is a new pet for my clients that I wasn’t aware of (yet 😂). I went directly into their bathroom from their bedroom. When I exited the bathroom, Pharaoh was happy to greet me 🫪 He is well contained and not a concern. Just gave me a little jump and a GAH 🐍

I love this perspective, because it is completely true for me. I love the routine, the satisfaction, etc. It’s not just “work”. Each home brings me joy knowing what I can bring to it.

Before long, I’ll be back working in the field full time again. Back to touching every house, noticing every detail, and being fully present in the work that built me. There’s something special about walking into the homes you’ve cared for over and over again — they start to feel familiar, almost like part of your story.

People who aren’t passionate about what they do may not understand it, but I genuinely miss these houses when I haven’t been around them. I miss the routine, the transformation, the satisfaction of leaving a space feeling fresh, peaceful, and cared for.

This work has never just been “cleaning” to me. It’s pride, discipline, consistency, and heart. And there’s nothing like knowing I’ll soon be back doing what I love most, hands-on and fully involved again. Only someone truly passionate about their work will understand that feeling.
