Did our best to make Brandon Lee proud today. Young crow found himself stuck wedged in a property. He wasn’t very happy with me to start, but he was just fine at the end.

He wouldn’t look at the camera despite my best photographer skills. Apparently telling him to say “cheese” did not interest him. 🐦‍⬛

FYI for our Suamico residents. I’ll be trading in my traps for some turnout gear. 😃👨‍🚒🚒

The Suamico Fire Department will be conducting a live fire training exercise on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from approximately 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. in the area of Northwood Road.

Residents and motorists may notice visible smoke throughout the area during the training evolution and for several hours afterward. Emergency vehicles and fire personnel will be operating in the area throughout the morning.

To ensure the safety of firefighters, instructors, and the public, Northwood Road will be closed to through traffic between Van Hoof Road and County Highway M during the training. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes and allow additional travel time.

We appreciate the public's patience and understanding as we conduct this important training exercise.

He was basically auditioning for a nature documentary. Close enough to count every whisker. 😂😂

If he starts paying rent, we might let him stay… but something tells me he’s just here to case the joint for his buddies.

We are definitely in the nesting season for all wildlife. Lots of family groups being relocated this year. If you have an adult animal, virtually any kind, hanging around your property you most likely have young nearby. These situations are always unique. Leave it to a professional.
