✨ Fun New Client Story! ✨

A super sweet couple recently reached out to me about cleaning their home! They travel quite a bit and rent out their home while they're away. Let's just say... the house hadn't had a good deep clean in a little while. 😅

I've been putting a LOT of love and elbow grease into bringing this home back to life, and my goal is to make it look like it was never even lived in!

Here's a little glimpse of some of the kitchen work I tackled last week, and I have to say, I'm pretty darn proud of how it turned out! 🥹

Fun fact about me: I used to be TERRIFIED of cleaning stovetops. 😂 The thought of using a razor blade or scrubbing with a pumice stone had me going YIKES!

But with practice, patience, and a whole lot more confidence, I've learned some pretty awesome techniques and have been able to completely transform some seriously neglected stovetops!

It's little things like this that remind me how much I've grown in my business. And seeing those before-and-afters? SO satisfying. 🤩

🍂 Maid by Maddie is accepting new clients for the fall season! Whether your home needs a serious deep clean or just some regular TLC, I'd love to help!

Reviews like this mean so much to me 🤍

Sally has trusted me with her home for the past six months, and I’m so grateful to have her as one of my recurring clients!

★★★★★

“So happy I found Maddie! She’s been cleaning my home once a month for 6 months now and does a spectacular job! Communication is easy and when I need something extra done, she’s always willing. I highly recommend!”

Thank you, Sally! 🫶

One of my favorite things about offering custom cleaning is being able to tailor each visit to what a home actually needs. No two homes or families are exactly the same, and your cleaning service shouldn’t have to be either.

As a house cleaner, there’s always that one house you show up to and each time you just can’t seem to get over how beautiful it is. That is this house for me. I’m so grateful for the support, continued learning, and to continue growing my little business with kind clients. Happy Friday! 💙🦋

Hi, I’m Maddie! 👋 Welcome to Maid by Maddie, proudly serving Grand Haven, Holland, Muskegon, and the surrounding areas with top-notch cleaning services. ✨

I’ve had this little business for a little over a year now, and I’m SO proud of how far it has come. I’m incredibly thankful for every single person who has supported me, trusted me in their home, recommended me to a friend, or simply cheered me on along the way. 🤍

This fall, I’m especially excited to welcome some new clients AND finally bring a few ideas to life that I can’t believe I haven’t done sooner! I’m working on new client welcome packets, little client gift packages, and some other fun touches to make the Maid by Maddie experience feel even more special.

I have so many awesome ideas in mind, and I can’t wait to share them with you. 😉

Stay tuned! 🧹✨

A beautiful deep clean for a happy client this week! 🤍 This one was a good one — 3 full bathrooms, kitchen cabinets cleaned inside + out, oven cleaned, doors wiped down and floors freshly mopped. Nothing better than leaving a home fresh and ready for a new beginning!

And her sweet review made my day:
“Maddie was great and easy to work with! She did a deep clean for us in our new home and now we are all ready to move in! She paid great attention to detail and was communicative and timely. Highly recommend working with Maddie!”
— Addison R.

So happy I could help get your new home move-in ready! 🏡✨

Happy Friday! 🤍

After a long week, I have to say… I tackled about NINE houses by myself this week, and some of them were quite big! 😅 Needless to say, I am more than ready for a well-deserved weekend.

A huge thank you to all of my wonderful clients who continue to trust me as their house cleaner. I appreciate you more than you know, and I’m so grateful that I get to keep doing what I do. 🫧

And because sometimes the job comes with a pretty great view… here’s a stunning one from one of the homes I cleaned this week. 😍

Enjoy, and happy weekend! (:

Shiny. Shiny. And more shiny. ✨

My go-to for cleaning a stovetop? A pumice stone for those stubborn spots, a good degreaser, and some 0000-grade steel wool where I need it most.

I used to use my alcohol + Dawn mixture on pretty much all stainless steel, but I’m happy to say I’ve officially entered my stainless steel cleaner + polish era. 😂

And I have to say… that final shine is SO satisfying.

It’s the little things. ✨

A little sneak p*ek at the new Maid by Maddie logo! 🧹✨

I'm so excited to finally start sharing the direction this brand is headed. I truly believe a business should reflect the personality and values behind it, so creating a brand that feels authentic has been incredibly important to me.

This logo came together after working closely with a designer, making lots of revisions, and paying attention to every little detail. I'm really happy with where we landed!

Next up? New shirts, business cards, updated estimates and cleaning forms, and lots of little touches to create a polished, professional experience for both new and existing clients.

I'm excited to keep building something I'm proud of—one clean home at a time. Stay tuned... there's more to come!

Ever wonder what your house cleaner actually uses? 👀

No gatekeeping over here...

I'm mostly eco-friendly, with a touch of sass when the situation calls for it. Here's what's always in my cleaning caddy:

🧼 Long's Digest Plus – My go-to for those extra stinky p*e toilets.

🚽 Toilet Bowl Cleaner – Because toilets deserve to be properly cleaned and disinfected.

✨ 90% Isopropyl Alcohol (mixed with water and a tiny drop of Dawn) – My favorite for recurring clients' homes and everyday fingerprints, smudges, and light messes.

💪 A Good Degreaser – For sticky kitchens and stubborn grime.

🌿 Dr. Bronner's – Always.

💧 Bio Clean Hard Water Stain Remover – Shower glass, faucets, and hard water buildup? This stuff is magic.

🪨 Cassell Stone Cleaner – My favorite for natural stone surfaces.

🧴 Cassell 5-in-1 Cleaner – A fantastic all-purpose cleaner for just about everything else.

🧽 Microfiber + Water – Believe it or not, this is what I use most for dusting. If I'm feeling a little extra, I'll finish wood with a beeswax polish.

My cleaning philosophy is simple: use the gentlest product that gets the job done. More chemicals don't always mean a cleaner home.

And if you decide to try the Cassell products, use code: MADISEN5.

You're welcome, you little cleaning vultures. 😂
