Grad season is officially underway! 🫣

Step 1: Add 1-2 Tablespoons of the following boosters to the first soak
*washing soda
*baking soda
*Borax
*Biz
*enzymes (I prefer FEBU)
Soak as long as wasale ery an ater.
powdered detergent (check ingredients for lipase).
Step 2. Scooch the clothing over and add 1-2 tablespoons spoons of the following boosters to the drum:
*washing soda
*baking soda
*Borax
*Biz
*Oxygen Bleach
Replace the clothing on top of mix, making sure to cover mix with wet clothing. Add about Ic of ammonia on top of clothing or during the beginning of wash cycle.
Add powdered detergent (look for lipase in ingredients) to detergent slot and rinse/refresh to fabric softener slot.

One of my heavy soiled master mix recipes:
Master mix:
2c washing soda
2c baking soda
2c oxygen bleach
1c borax
1c Biz

Keep in air tight container.
*For medium size heavy soiled loads: 2Tbs
*For large size/heavily soiled/hard water loads: 3-4Tbs

Welp, the thermofuse blew... again. This fuse blows when the unit overheats.

Replacing is straight toward and only coast me $15 and maybe 2 hours of time! YouTube is your best friend. I cleaned the dryer while it was open, but it wasn't bad.

Very satisfying to save hundreds of dollars! But the host flashes to cold freezing kinda sucked lol

Samsung dryer would click to start, but wouldn't start. I ain't calling no repair man, unless is my boyfriend... who is out of town. He's fixed it before so I guess it's my turn... 😬

If there's one thing I can do?? It's mess some stuff up lol

👚 The OG Laundry Bosses (out if necessity)- In the late 1800s, many Black women gained financial independence by running their own laundry businesses. They didn’t just clean clothes, they built communities, created jobs, and turned laundry into a power move!

🧘🏾Ellen Eglin’s Game-Changer – Ever used a clothes wringer? You can thank Ellen Eglin, an African American inventor who designed a hand-cranked version to make drying clothes easier. Sadly, she had to sell her idea because, as a Black woman, she wasn’t taken seriously in business.

Little Brown Lady Laundry is closed tomorrow (1/6) and possible Wednesday (1/7) because the Little Brown Lady herself is being humbled by her kidneys and ovaries, AKA high blood pressure PCOS meds that said, “Girl, go sit yo butt down.”

Today’s schedule includes:
🛌 Resting
💊 Adjusting to meds
🚫 NOT lifting bags of laundry like the Superwoman I am!
