At Lake Limestone, our team at TX Mulching & Dozer recently completed a full site-prep project, taking raw land and turning it into a build-ready property.
The first step was clearing the property. We removed heavy brush and vegetation to open up the land and create a clean, workable footprint. Proper clearing is critical—it allows accurate grading, drainage planning, and sets the foundation for everything that comes next.
Once the site was cleared, we moved into house pad construction. These pads were carefully built and compacted to provide a solid, level base for the future home. Proper elevation and compaction help prevent drainage and settling issues down the road.
We also installed a 30-foot culvert to allow water to flow naturally through the property while maintaining access and protecting the road and pad areas from erosion and runoff.
With clearing, pads, and drainage complete, the property is now fully prepped and ready for the next phase: construction of the house and shop.
