🪑 Chairs Up or Chairs Down? 🪑
One thing clients often notice when I clean is that I put dining chairs up on the table before cleaning the floors.

Why do I do it?

✨ Allows me to clean every inch of the floor
✨ Makes it easier to reach under tables and around chair legs
✨ Prevents chair legs from dragging across freshly cleaned floors
✨ Helps floors dry without leaving marks or streaks

I do want to add that I always consider the needs of each client. For my elderly clients, I make sure chairs are put back down before I leave so they don't have to worry about lifting them.

For most other clients, I typically leave the chairs up until they get home. This gives the floors a little extra time to dry completely and helps keep them looking their best.

It's a small detail, but sometimes the little things make a big difference in the quality of a cleaning! ✨

Yall! Run to Home Depot and get y’all a Ryobi starter kit, which is a charger and 2 batteries, and get a free tool! I chose a fan! With the warm weather coming, this will help me immensely! It’s small and light weight, making it easy to carry around and keep in my car!

Hello everyone!
With the hot weather upon us, I need to put out a friendly 🚨PSA! 🚨

The hotter it is in your home, the slower I move. I understand you may be comfortable or maybe even a little cold, but as I’m moving around, carrying equipment around, etc… I am HOT 🥵. Plus, I’m on medication that makes it difficult to regulate my body temperature and makes me more susceptible to heat stroke… 🥵

Today, I cleaned a regular’s home that was at 76, and within the first 30 min, I was dripping… I asked nicely if they could turn down the temp and they turned it to 74… and kind of bickered with me about it… also cleaned a home today that didn’t have the ac on at all, doors open, windows open, and the house was at 85. She herself was getting warm from moving around and decided to turn on the AC, which I’m grateful for, but that home won’t cool off till I’m out of it.

I’m not one to complain, but if you’re unable or don’t want to keep the house cool while I’m there, I will not be cleaning it… I am a hard worker and already put wear and tear on my body, just by cleaning. I don’t want to risk my health further by overheating.

(I’m also looking to invest into a small portable fan to keep in my car, any recommendations are welcome)

A refrigerator can tell a story most people never see.
