Everyone say hello to Colonel Tim MOORE. He is on the aquatic staff at the Sanibel Rec recreation center, and this is his last week before retirement.
We visited Sanibel Rec today to replace some POOL FENCE, do some repairs and add some gates. Always great to visit our friends on the island.

As temperatures begin to soar in Southwest Florida , pool use is also on the rise. That’s why we encourage you to learn about pool safety this season.

Before you get in the water, be sure to follow the “ABC’s of Pool Safety”:

🏊‍♀️ Adult Supervision: Assign an adult Water Watcher to keep their eyes on the water at all times. Limit the cycle to 15 minutes to ensure safety.

🏊‍♀️ Barriers: Fences, self-closing and self-latching gates, barriers, pool motion sensors, windows, drain covers, and door alarms must be in place.

🏊‍♀️ Classes: Parents and Caregivers should take CPR, First Aid, and swimming courses for both children and adults!
