🐾 Friendly Reminder from The P**p Scoop Duty 🐾
A lot of people are surprised to learn this, but dog p**p is actually not fertilizer.
Unlike manure from animals that primarily eat plants, dog waste contains bacteria, parasites, and high levels of nitrogen that can actually harm your lawn, damage plants, and contribute to water pollution when washed into storm drains.
It can also attract flies and create unpleasant odors, especially during our hot South Carolina summers. ☀️
The good news? Regular cleanup helps keep your yard cleaner, healthier, and more enjoyable for your family and pets.
We’re not sharing this to scare anyone—just as a friendly bit of information that many dog owners may not know! 🐶
