Tip Tuesday:
If you have trouble staying on task when cleaning, focus on one room at a time. Choose an area of the room to begin, follow the guidelines top to bottom and left to right.
Example- livingroom: begin with dusting the ceiling fan or light fixture (whatever you have), then pick a wall corner to begin in and dust corner to corner along the ceiling, down the wall corner(ceilingto floor), and along the baseboards. Do this all the way around the room. Dust all hanging objects, then all surfaces. Sweep, vacuum, and mop, and you're finished.
Of course first tidy up before beginning cleaning. Pick up any messes, put away anything that you don't want out, and fold and straighten blankets and pillows.
Play music while you clean. It may not help you go faster, but it'll help keep you uplifted and relaxed while cleaning. Especially if you don't particularly enjoy cleaning. 😁
