If you haven't had your furnace checked yet this fall, now's the time. Michigan winters don't wait, and a breakdown in the middle of a cold snap is a lot more stressful (and expensive) than a quick inspection now. A local HVAC pro can catch small issues before they turn into a no-heat emergency, make sure your system is running efficiently to keep bills in check, and give you peace of mind heading into the coldest months. While you're at it, it's also worth checking your furnace filter and weatherstripping around doors and windows to seal in heat and cut down on energy waste.
