Why pay $350 - $1,000 for a regular maintenance or deep clean? Here are some of the reasons why, what you may not see in the life of a professional cleaner:
1. Backbreaking work.
😖 Cleaners don't want to discourage business so we will not tell you how much your clean affected our bodies. The truth is, we HURT. Backs are out of whack, hands callused, knees definitely feeling it. 🤕 We cannot work 8 hours a day for 6-7 days a week.
2. Physical fatigue.
🫠 Burnout is real, problem solving each difficult to clean spot. Going over shower doors multiple times with different methods and still seeing soap scum. 😞 Body feeling tired from the go go go of cleaning a space room by room.🪫
3. Balancing physical work with the background of running a business.
💻 We don't just clean your home. We are setting up systems, Book keeping, advertising, booking jobs, setting up prospects and goals, making sure we have profit, keeping supplies replenished, all the while still maintaining our own lives. When you add these additional working hours, the pay goes way down. 💸
4. Cleaning products can add up.
💳 If you're like me, liking to use eco friendly products, these costs really can add up! Especially on full restore homes, the amount of magic erasers, sanitizers, paper towels, wipes, and not to mention equipment. We have to save up for more advanced equipment to make our jobs easier. 🧴🧹🧽
If you've made it this far in my post thanks so much! Is there something that you didn't consider that cleaners deal with? For my fellow cleaners. What is something difficult to communicate to your clients? Let me know in the comments what I missed!
