Sammy has been adopted!

Pet abandonment happens everyday. It's hard to say why someone would feel that their only option was to leave a pet behind. Unfortunately this is a situation that we're starting to see more and more. So the GoodFellas decided to do something about it. Our new pet rescue initiative aims to help abandoned pets by providing a fostering and rehoming program geared to acclimate the animal to a home and family environment prior to placement in a furever home. We couldn't be more excited!

Sammy's Story

Sammy was left by her owners in a rental property with no access to food or water. She ran up to us immediately for help when we entered. Even though she was obviously starving all she wanted was to be held. She's a very social cat who just wants to hang out with you. I can't even imagine how scared and lonely she must have been. We've been fostering Sammy for 3 weeks now and she's ready for her furever home!

Sammy is very sweet and friendly. She loves eveyone she meets and is great with kids! She's completely litter box trained with no accidents. We're not sure if she's ever been around other cats or dogs. So, she may need some adjustment time if you do have other pets.

Here it is! Before and after pics from the garage hoard!

This was actually a pretty interesting job. There were magazines and newspapers from the 50's to the 90's. Tons of vintage toys and books. Never a boring day!

This was from a recent job we worked on. The microwave caught fire and destroyed the kitchen in this house. The entire home was covered in ash from top to bottom. They did a great job containing the fire in the kitchen and preventing spread. But unfortunately this home needs a lot of work before the family can move back in.
