He will be in. The hospital for about 5 to 7 days then recovery at home will be 4 to 6 weeks .

Tomorrow we go for Mri of the abdomen, and then across the street for pre op , ekg , chest exray and blood work.
Surgery is set for March 31st as of now to cut 1 section of the right lobe and one from the left lobe of the liver.
Mark will be in the hospital for about a week and then laid up for about 6 to 8 weeks.
(Even if we have to strap him to the bed. He thinks he is coming home and going back to work) NOT!!

So we saw Dr. G yesterday for test results.
Ct of chest and pelvis both look good nothing new .
Mri of the abdomen still shows the one spot on the liver that we knew was there. Ut didnt shrink, But there is nothing new and it didn't spread
anywhere.
This last 6 chemo where basically a band aid to keep it from spreading or growing till MD Anderson got their new equipment for a new procedure that will destroy the tumor with high power ultrasonic waves and no surgery.
The equipment Is in now and we see the liver surgeon on Wednesday next week to see when he can have that done.
So for now this is positive next week we see about the next step

Well here we are again!!
I can't believe I'm posting this again, but Marks new scans showed one Lil new spot on the liver.
So here we are again starting 6 rounds of chemo(30% less.potent than the first time) before he will have another ablation sometime in September when he is done the chemo.
He is strong and his weight is up, unlike last time. Hoping this 6 rounds are A Piece of cake for him this time.

Mark just finished round 4.
2 more and we get another scan to see how things are going!
