Class Policy
Payment must be received at time of registration. Cancel 7 or more days before class you will be issued a store credit. There will be no refunds or credit for cancellations less than 7 days before class. If we have to cancel a class, we will reschedule the class when possible or refund the fee. You will receive a 20% discount on all purchased here for a class. SNOW POLICY - If Howard County schools are 2 hours late, then the 10am classes will be not start until 12pm. If Howard County schools are closed then the class will be cancelled and rescheduled at a later date.

Using Susan Cleveland's "Piping Hot Binding" techniques, Pat will show you how to accent curves in quilts. Add interest and "pizzazz" with a touch of piping. Class fee $50 plus supplies.

Fabric Weaving - Terri Miller
Friday, November 22nd - 10:30am - 1:30pm
Using 3 contrasting colors, you will learn a weaving technique that creates a "tumbling block pattern". This is a great block to add as a pocket in garments or make a small bag or use in a quilt. Class fee $30 plus supplies

Pat has taught quilting for many years. This has been a popular class at Ellicott City Sew Vac for anyone who wants to learn to quilt or is just getting started. You will learn the basics such as accurate cutting, perfect piecing, fabric and color choices and so much more. Class fee $60 plus supplies

Introduction to Sewing Part II - Jackie Clark
Friday, October 18th, 25th and November 1st - 7pm - 10pm
In part II of this class the students will make a "shirt style" blouse using basic sewing skills.
There are just a few seats left. Class fee $90 plus supplies

Double Diamonds Christmas Tree Wallhanging - Terri Miller
Wednesday, October 23rd - 10am - 3pm
Using the Double Diamond ruler create this stunning Wallhanging with a dimensional effect. The kit will include fabric, fusible webbing, interfacing and studs. Class Fee $45 plus supplies. Kit Fee is $17.50 payable to instructor

Inspirational Feathered Friends - Deb LaFrance
Sunday, October 20th - 1pm - 3pm
You will create this sweet little wall decoration using paint, decorative stitches and beading by machine. Class fee $20 plus there will be a small kit fee and supply list

Dancing Circles - Joyce Ritter
Friday, October 25th and Friday, November 1st - 10:30am - 4pm
Whether you are a precise artist or more free-form, novice or advanced, this class is for you. Local quilt artist Joyce Ritter has adapted Sue Benner's method of designing in circles and fusing fabrics. You will create a vivid quilt top that looks extremely intricate yet all you have to do is cut out designs in a circle! Joyce will come prepared with sample designs but the emphasis will be on helping you find your own creativity. Class fee $90 plus supplies

Finishing Techniques for Hoopsisters Patterns - Terri Miller
