Today’s Maid for a Day service was a productive one! 🖤

In just four hours, we accomplished a LOT:

✨ Removed an entire truckload of trash
✨ Filled almost 3 bags with donations (donation removal included)
✨ Decluttered and organized
✨ Made the closets accessible again
✨ Cleared and organized the bathroom cabinets so they can actually be used again
✨ Tackled the things that had been waiting for enough time, energy, and extra hands

While Gabby handled the cleaning, I worked alongside our client to sort, declutter, organize, and make decisions about what stayed and what could go.

There is no judgment with our Maid for a Day service. Sometimes life gets busy. Sometimes things pile up. Sometimes you just need someone beside you to help get things moving again.

🧹 LET’S TALK ABOUT DUST. 🧹

Dusting isn't just about making your house look clean. That fluffy gray stuff sitting on your shelves, baseboards, ceiling fans, blinds, and furniture is a lovely little collection of pet dander, fur, pollen, skin cells, fibers, dirt, and whatever else has wandered into your house.

And if you have pets? 🐾
Congratulations. You have your own personal dander-and-fur distribution system. 😂

Regular dusting helps:

✨ Reduce pet dander, pollen, and other airborne irritants
✨ Improve indoor air quality by removing particles before they get kicked back into the air
✨ Keep dust from building up on vents, fans, furniture, and electronics

🧹 CLEANING IS A WORKOUT — AND MY MASSAGE THERAPIST HAS THE RECEIPTS. 😂

People see a clean house. What they don’t see is everything that goes into getting it that way.

Stretching. Reaching. Bending. Squatting. Pulling. Pushing. Scrubbing. Hauling equipment around. Getting down on the floor and then questioning every life choice while getting back up. 😂

Professional cleaning is rough on your body, and mine definitely knows it. Between cleaning houses all week and running CG Cleaning Solutions, I keep my massage therapist gainfully employed. 💆‍♀️🤣

But I love what I do—especially giving people back a clean, comfortable space without them having to put their backs through the same abuse.

A clean is not complete if the sink has dirty dishes in it. Cleaned, dried, and put away with minimal time and effort. Most of my clients are single, working parents...and I understand that situation all too well. So I do what I can to make things just a little easier.
