Holiday Food Drive - Urgent Need!

Dear Friends and Neighbors,
We are helping to host a food drive for Eastern Plains Community Pantry. We recently learned that they are in dire need of food for Christmas meals for 150 families! The local source that typically funds these meals has fallen short this year, so we have joined with friends and family to host a food drive through next Wednesday the 11th.
The not-for-profit Community Pantry serves a HUGE area from Black Forest, Falcon and Peyton to Kiowa, Matheson, Yoder, Rush, Ellicott and Calhan. They are open 6 days a week for families in need of food.
The Pantry has enough turkeys and ham for Christmas, but desperately need side dish items that are:
- Canned or boxed
- Unopened, sealed
- Not expired
If you are able to donate any amount - 1 can or a box full - please message us. We have a collection bin at 12070 Northcliff Rd or we can pick up from you. We'll deliver donations to the Pantry by Thursday the 12th so they can assemble boxed meals. (They even accept dog and cat food in sealed packaging!)
If you'd like to volunteer or donate directly to the Pantry, their contact info is: (719) 347-3062 or EPCP, 701 4th St, Calhan, CO 80808.
Please spread the word and THANK YOU for helping with this labor of love for Christmas!🎅

Quick Tip Video:
Toilet paper that's "cushy on the t***y" and "flushable" wipes can wreak havoc in a septic system. Throwing out all wipes and using septic-safe toilet paper can prevent messy sewage back-ups and extend the time between septic tank maintenance pumping. Questions? We're here to help!
