Engineers Without Borders USA- SIUE WE ARE NOT JUST FOR ENGINEERS! Currently, our chapter is in its second year of our 5-7 year-long program with Virginia, Guatemala.

We are an organization that partners with communities in developing countries to work on projects that help meet basic human needs. We are currently designing a water distribution and sanitation system, our first project, and are looking forward to implementing the whole system in the next couple of years. This system will help more than 70 families by getting cleaner water nearer to their homes i

nstead of having to walk 1-2 miles to and from local rivers and springs. From this project, they hope to see decreased health ailments caused by bacteria in water and save them hours of their day. Our chapter is also very active within the community, often helping out at the local Habitat for Humanity houses. If you're interested in learning more, please don't hesitate to contact us.
