I don’t typically post stuff like this on my business page, but I am today!
Please read and share!
Update: Her rent is covered for her to be caught up for August! Y’all are the best! My boys are going to take her enough food to get her through until her food stamp card is reloaded, some gas for her car, and also look at her dryer and car this evening.
One of my kids knows a single Mom of 4 that has fallen on very hard times and is needing some help getting back on her feet. If anyone would like to help it would be greatly appreciated!
Here are the immediate needs:
She needs $375 to be caught up on everything for August. Everything is due on the first.
$650 is current total monthly expense for rent, water, gas, electric, phone and insurance
Dryer is not working well and needs worked on. She thinks it’s the heating element.
Her car works at the current time, but she needs gas and will soon need a new battery and alternator.
They need food until food stamp card reloads on Friday at midnight.
Her kiddos need clothes really bad.
13 year old girl: m-xl. Shoe size 9
12 year old girl: m-xl. Shoe size 9
8 year old boy: 8 or 10-12. Shoe size: 3
3 year old boy: 3t. Shoe size: 11-12
She has applied for emergency assistance, but not having much luck there. She is a hard worker but ran into some issues with childcare over the summer and lost her job. She is door dashing to try to keep a roof over their head until she can get a full time job, but her car keeps breaking down. She attends church when she is able to get there and she puts her kids first and will go without food and clothes before her kids go hungry.
We do have her a way to get backpacks and school supplies for her kids from some local churches.
If anyone would like to help please feel free to message me on my personal page, Kristi Collier Willis, and I’ll send you my Venmo & CashApp info, or my address to have anything shipped. We thought about a Gofund me, but I’m not sure how that all works and don’t have time to try to figure it out, plus I think they keep a percentage of what’s donated. If you aren’t in a position to help, that’s totally understandable, times are tough on everyone right now, but prayers are always welcome and feel free to share my
Thank you!
