It’s National Food Day, and we have one very important question:

Great Scott! It’s Back to the Future Day!

October 21 is the day Marty McFly and Doc Brown traveled to the future in Back to the Future Part II.

Story From the Field: A $1,000+ Repair That Wasn’t Needed

When a toilet isn’t flushing properly, the solution isn’t always an expensive repair.

Kate had received a quote from another company for more than $1,000 to fix her slow-flushing toilet. She was referred to Ron the Sewer Rat and called us for another opinion.

Our technician Lawrence evaluated the toilet and found the actual problem, the toilet jets were blocked. After cleaning them out, the toilet was flushing properly again.

Our charge: $152.

At Ron the Sewer Rat, we’re proud to be a family-owned business. No venture capital firm. No private equity ownership. Just a local company led by someone who cares about the people who work here and the customers we serve.

Peter is more than the owner of Ron the Sewer Rat. He’s a family man, a leader who genuinely cares about his team, and, most importantly on National Boss’s Day, a pretty darn good boss.

Owning a business means wearing a lot of hats, making tough decisions, and occasionally dealing with a whole lot of crap, which, fortunately, is something we know a little about around here.
