🐀 The most expensive rat is the one you ignore.

Many homeowners think they are saving money by putting off a rodent problem or choosing the cheapest quote. Unfortunately, the damage rodents cause can cost far more than hiring the right company to solve the problem correctly the first time.

Here are some realistic costs homeowners may face:

💰 Professional rodent exclusion: $1,000-$6,000

💰 Remove contaminated attic insulation, sanitize the attic, foam-seal accessible penetrations and compartments, and install new blown insulation: $3,000-$6,000+

💰 Replace damaged HVAC ductwork: $2,000-$6,000+

💰 Electrical repairs or rewiring caused by rodent damage: $2,000-$10,000+

Another home inspection complete!

This homeowner gave us a call after finding a snake inside their home. Thankfully, they identified it as non-venomous and were able to safely remove it themselves. They still wanted the peace of mind of having a professional inspection, so we were happy to help.

During our inspection, we found evidence of rodent activity. In many cases, snakes aren’t the real problem—they’re following an easy food source. Rodents leave behind scent trails, and snakes can pick up on those pheromones, leading them right to your home in search of their next meal.

The good news? We’ll be getting this home properly sealed up and humanely evicting the remaining critters, helping prevent future wildlife problems without the use of poisons or rodenticides.
