Yellowjackets are aggressive stingers that build papery nests in hidden places like wall voids, shrubs, or even underground.

If you’re seeing them hover near your patio, grill, trash cans, or drink stations it’s time to inspect.

🔍 How to Check for a Nest:

•Look for increased wasp activity in one area (a steady in-and-out flight path)

•Check eaves, fence posts, bushes, or ground holes… but don’t get too close.

•Avoid blocking the entrance or spraying (it can trigger a swarm).

⚠️ DO NOT attempt to remove a nest yourself. Yellowjackets can sting repeatedly and become highly aggressive if disturbed.
