After two years, many births, uncountable hours, and a huge amount of joy, I’m officially a DONA Certified Birth Doula.

Somehow I leave Australia in one week. It’s crazy how quickly the time has passed- I’ve learned so much here and could not be more psyched to bring it home.

I’m the the process of writing an article about the public homebirth system that’s run out of some Australian hospitals, which has been mind blowing and really interesting to learn about! I’ve gotten to know many amazing midwives here, as well as doulas, OBs, and childbirth educators. And of course, one of my highlights was attending the awesome course.

While my time here has been amazing and transformative, I’m really excited to be coming home :) see you soon!
