There is a moment early in building a home from the ground up where you look at what is in front of you: concrete slab, exposed framing, a job site that looks nothing like the dream and this is where we say “you just have to trust us.”

Trust the process. Trust the people. Trust that every decision we collectively agonized over is going to make sense when it all comes together.

That trust is the hardest part and it is also the most important part. Because on the other side of it is a walk-through that stops you in your tracks. A home that did not exist before which has been built from your vision, your choices, your faith in the process. Standing in front of you exactly as you imagined it.

That is the moment we work toward on every single project. And it never gets old.

Nobody tells you that designing your home is going to make you feel every single human emotion in the span of about six months.

Joy. Doubt. Excitement. Pure panic. More joy.

Existential uncertainty about throw pillow colors.

And then the moment it all comes together and suddenly you cannot imagine it any other way.

That last part is our favorite. We will be with you for all of it though. Even the throw pillow crisis 🫡
