I’ve seen a lot of people asking for references on drain cleaning in the Dekalb/sycamore area on the what’s happening pages. PEOPLE,please, please do your research. Just because someone has a FB page and a cell phone DOES NOT MEAN that they are an actual plumber. I refrain from commenting on these things because I do not want to get into a heated thing on social media. Ask for proof of an actual company license, insurance, plumbers license and insurance, bonded through the state and locally as well. There are a lot of “handymen/women” that have no business doing my skilled trade nor do they have the years and years of experience and knowledge a true tradesperson has. Fact check everyone !

Going forward I will be calling out these people and highlighting the need for an ACTUAL plumbing license to do the work requested and sending names to the state. It’s getting ridiculous on how many shade tree plumbers are breaking state law and ripping off our counties citizens.

Buyer beware…….

When you decide to go on what’s happening in “insert your town” realize there’s a lot of shady and NON PROFESSIONAL people claiming to be actual legit businesses. I see the names and can tell you they are nothing more than a cell phone and fake F.B page. 😳 Ask for proof of insurance and a registered LLC or business with an ACTUAL plumbing license. Cheap and affordable gets exactly what you pay for.

I’ve seen a lot of what’s happening in Dekalb/sycamore for plumbing advise and searching for local help. So, a lot of these people on those ARE NOT actual licensed plumbers. Please be cautious and ask for proof of a license when you’re trying to procure professional help with this trade. To many people are just a cell phone and a page pretending to be an actual professional !
