Bathroom exhaust vent covers collect dust and lint over time. When they’re clogged, the fan can’t remove moisture as effectively, which can lead to excess humidity, mildew, and mold.

✨ Remedy
Turn off the power to the fan, remove the vent cover, and vacuum away the dust. Wash the cover with warm, soapy water, let it dry completely, and reinstall it. Cleaning the vent every few months helps keep your bathroom fresh and your fan running efficiently.

💡 Daily Cleaning Tip
Before the weekend begins, take 15 minutes to do a whole-house reset. Empty the trash, clear off countertops, put away anything out of place, and start a load of laundry. Beginning the weekend with a tidy home means more time to relax and enjoy it.

The space underneath your refrigerator collects dust, pet hair, crumbs, and debris that often go unnoticed. Over time, this buildup can affect airflow around the appliance and make your kitchen feel less clean.

✨ Remedy
Every few months, carefully pull the refrigerator away from the wall and vacuum underneath and behind it using a crevice attachment. Wipe the floor before sliding it back into place, and be careful not to damage the flooring or water line if your refrigerator has one.

The area around the base of the toilet can collect dust, hair, and bacteria from everyday use. Since it’s low to the floor, it’s often overlooked during routine bathroom cleaning.

✨ Remedy
Wipe around the entire base of the toilet weekly using a disinfecting cleaner and a microfiber cloth or disposable wipe. Pay close attention to the back of the toilet and where it meets the floor, as these areas tend to collect the most dust and grime.

💡 Daily Cleaning Tip
Keep a small cleaning kit in each bathroom with a microfiber cloth and an all purpose cleaner. Having supplies within reach makes it easy to do quick touch ups throughout the week and helps prevent dirt from building up.
