The pool guy said, “Cool. Then I guess your filters live with me now.” 😂

The BEST part? He got paid in full, brought the filters back, finished the job… and somehow they’re still cool to this day.

After a month of this weird little weekly ritual, he finally quit the account.

Me: “I’ll have this cleaned up in 3–4 visits!”

Buddha Pool: “That’s cute.” 💀

Between 100-degree heat, my husband being out of town, soccer tournaments, and filters producing what I can only describe as forbidden swamp soup, this pool really put me through it. 😂

BUT LOOK AT HER NOW. 😍💚

She’s still got some staining and calcium issues, but the homeowner wasn’t looking for a full renovation. She just wanted the green gone so her son could enjoy the pool again.

And THAT was the assignment.

A few extra visits, approximately 400 gallons of sweat (mine), and one very satisfying transformation later…

BUDDHA POOL IS BACK, BABY. 🙌

Would absolutely sign up for this chaos again.

Shopping for a pool heater? Compare more than the price tag.

Before you choose, check:

Efficiency: What does it take to run, not just to buy?

SHE’S BEAUTY. SHE’S GRACE. SHE FINALLY HAS PROPER FILTRATION IN PLACE. 👑😂

Turns out Baby Baby Cloud had been using her pump basket as a community landfill.

Redwood debris? COME ON IN.
Mystery chunks in the plumbing? WHY NOT.
Functional filtration? Apparently optional. 💀

A filter clean, a little Riptide action, and some much-needed attention to the water flow later…

LOOK AT THIS GORGEOUS GIRL. 😭✨

And listen, this is my first year running this business. I’ve survived my first absolutely insane summer, learned approximately 47 million things, and made it through some pretty questionable decisions. Like taking on two pool cleanups at once in 100-degree heat while my husband’s out of town. 😂

So YES, I’m going to stand here admiring my own work like I personally invented swimming pools.
