We have finally found an apprentice to put time into. She wants to find out all about dahlias. Said she knew how to dig the holes. Turned around and she was digging the dahlias out. Gave her a break and asked her if she could pick up the stick in the yard and she mastered it. We learn from our mistakes and Rosie is an increadable addition to Crazy 4 Dahlias! Alway looking to learn something new, inquisitive, and ready to put the work in. Looking forward to our successful team through the years. Look forward to her becoming empoyee of the month soon.

n 2 hours or our website will snowily go dark prepping for our 9 AM opening tomorrow. Hollyhill Calypso will be there It is a 2026 introduction from Ted and Margaret Kennedy. It is an orange Waterlily with really nice substance. The orange glows in the garden. It’s a winner at the show. The plant grows 6 feet tall in our garden. Passed in two trial gardens with scores of 87.7, 87.3 and 87.33 and 1 bench evaluation with a score of 86.333.

Of course, Sunday Sunday, Sunday! This Is Crazy for Fluffy! This our introduction this year. Named 4 one of the best poodles you could ever know. Crazy 4 Fluffy is our 2026 introduction. It Grows 4 feet tall in our garden. It is a pink Laciniated flower when cooler it has a white center. Can win at the show. Produces lots of flowers I think it will be a nice wedding flower. It has 2 bench evaluation scores of 85.583 and 85.000. This is not the best picture but Crazy 4 Fluffy, she is beautiful! Hope to show pictures of her soon.

It is a red Waterlily with really nice substance. It’s a winner at the show. The plant grows 5 feet tall in our garden. January 18 9 AM EST Hollyhill Cheerio will be available at crazy4dahlias.com . Hollyhill Cheerio is a 2025 introduction from Ted and Margaret Kennedy. It just being released due to stock issues. It is a dark pink incurved cactus bloom. The tips of the petals are lavender. Very striking bloom. The flowers are BB sized and the plant grows 6 feet tall in our garden. . It will be a winner at the show with good substance, produces lots of flowers. Passed in 1 trial gardens with a score of 90.051 in 2024. I had best basket in show with it in a previous post.

This Sunday the 18 at 9AM we will have Hollyhill Dutchess available. It is a 2026 introduction from Ted and Margaret Kennedy. It is a dark pink cactus bloom the flowers are B sized and the plant grows 5.5 feet tall in our garden. It will be a winner at the show with great substance, produces lots of flowers. Passed in 2 trial gardens with a score of 85.92 and 85.27.

Windhaven Puff is a 2026 introduction from Bob Romano. It is a B size dahlia. It’s dark pink blend with a light pink. It is laciniated with a lot of petals. It shows very well and holds up in the heat. It grows 4.5 feet tall in our garden. Very floriferous and great in the garden. It has 1 trial garden score of 89.03 and has 3 bench scores of 91.667, 89.625, and 88.250. It won a Lynn Dudley award. It will be available at our opening on January 18 at 9 AM.

So glad we finished harvest yesterday! There was some one watching and protect us.They said a dusting to 2 inches. Happy and enjoying 5 inches.

Catastrophy avoided yesterday thanks to Innovative Healthcare center urgent care in Town here in Damascus. I cut my hand cleaning up the driveway getting ready for snow, waiting for it to get above 33 to start our final harvest. Definatly not a dahlia insident. Pretty bad cut, my wife insisted and drove me up the street to get fixed. She was right for me to go. Michelle sewed me up like raggedy Andy doll. But with so much more care cause I am a person. Told her what I had to do yesterday and she set me up for success which we acomplished. Can't say enough about our in towns urgent care. From my injury till being back in the garden was within 2 hours.

Relaxing today enjoying looking at the snow. Made a sun dried tomato frittata, meant to be breakfast fo a couple days. Almost gone. Thank you sip and feast, been looking forward to making it, and it did not disapoint. Apreciate your recipes.

We have set our date to open. January 1 is not going to happen. Dividing Can't happen for about a week. I am not able to get what needs to be done.

We have decided January 18 at 9 am will be our opening. This week hopefully I can be update our website with our dahias to offer. We have a lot more listings to do.

I know their of a few people who have enjoyed our riddles and helped us ramp up. We thought we were leveling the dahlia wars but probably not.
We enjoyed the excitement and everyones elses excitement.
For those who did not like we are very sorry.

There will be a riddle and a prize as long as long as U R Crazy 4 Dahlias! How Crazy R U. If your not a bit crazy how interesting R U!
